DAMRO NATURAL RUBBER

Rubber is grown on 26 of the 40 estates we possess, that are situated in the main rubber growing regions of the Island. Our Rubber plantations cover an extent of 8117 hectares and located within these plantations are 14 factories that produce natural rubber of the highest quality.

We are also recognized as one of the largest producers of Natural Rubber in Sri Lanka, where the annual production volumes exceed 7 million kgs and these volumes are certain to gradually increase during the ensuing years, owing to the introduction of new technology and rapid expansion of cultivation.

Amongst the mix of different rubber grades that are currently being produced, we are renowned for the manufacture of a premium grade Sole Crepe, in smooth, ribbed and pebbly finishes of varying thicknesses. We produce Honey and Colored Sole Crepe too and could assure an uninterrupted supply of these grades, as we at present produce quantities exceeding 45 tons per month.
